Bazaar’s extraordinary legacy in the art world continues today: Cindy Sherman, Tracey Emin, Gillian Wearing and Yoko Ono are just a few of the artists who have collaborated with us in recent years. Join us between 2 and 9 October for the second annual edition of Bazaar Art Week, a series of expert talks, private views and exclusive events celebrating women in art. Here’s the full line-up…

Harper’s Bazaar x St James’s London Art Walks

Join an art-themed walking tour around the London neighbourhood of St James’s, starting with a welcome drink at Cristea Roberts Gallery, where you can marvel at colourful works by Anni Albers and Rana Begum, and ending at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. Highlights of the walk will include the Royal Academy’s solo show of the Finnish painter Helene Schjerfbeck, Panter & Hall’s 20th-anniversary exhibition, and visits to Stern Pissarro and Thomas Dane galleries.Tickets include a glass of Ruinart Champagne, a glass of wine or soft drink, and access to all galleries and exhibitions. @StJamesLondon

Young Masters Art Prize exhibition: private view and panel talk

A manga-inspired print of Frida Kahlo and an immersive installation created from hundreds of fabric flowers are among the artworks that will go on show at the 10th-anniversary edition of the Young Masters Art Prize exhibition. Join Bazaar for a private view of the show, held at a gallery in the Royal Arcade in St James’s, and hear a panel discussion involving past prizewinners, including Lucille Lewin, the former founder and director of Whistles, who left fashion to pursue a career in sculpture.

Sotheby’s x Bazaar: champagne lunch and barge trip to Frieze Masters

Meeting for coffee at the Tom Dixon store at Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross, you’ll board the Electric Barge, where you’ll indulge in a lavish champagne lunch as you travel in style along the Regent’s Canal to Frieze Masters. While on board, you’ll hear from an expert panel that includes Frances Christie, the head of Modern & Post-War British Art at Sotheby’s, Chloe Stead, a deputy director from the auction house’s Old Master department, and Katy Hessel, a curator, art historian and founder of the pioneering Instagram account @thegreatwomenartists. The speakers will share advice on the women artists to look out for at Frieze Masters, which you will be free to explore at the end of the trip.

The event takes place on Friday 4 October from 11am to 2.30pm. Tickets include morning coffee, lunch and champagne, the barge trip and a day ticket to Frieze Masters. Book your place here.

Luchita Hurtado: a curator’s tour at the Serpentine

Don’t miss your last chance to see the first UK solo show of the trailblazing Venezuela-born, California-based artist Luchita Hurtado, who painted prolifically throughout her 80-year career but has only recently received the recognition she deserves for her extraordinary contribution to modern art. Following champagne and canapés at Chucs Café Serpentine, the curator Rebecca Lewin will introduce the exhibition, before taking guests on a guided tour of the highlights.

London Drawing Group masterclass at the Henrietta Hotel

Join the London Drawing Group (LDG) – a collective of three contemporary female artists – for a drawing masterclass inspired by the artist Judy Chicago’s monumental installation The Dinner Party, held in the elegant surroundings of Covent Garden’s Henrietta Hotel. The session will begin with a visual lecture by the LDG’s Luisa-Maria MacCormack exploring Chicago’s significance to feminist art history; you’ll then be invited to work individually and collaboratively to create a life-size interpretation of the installation, using traditional drawing and mixed-media techniques. Champagne and canapés will be provided throughout the class.

‘The future of art is female’: breakfast panel discussion

Held over breakfast at the Punch Room at The London Edition, a sophisticated private space at the heart of this Fitzrovia hotel, Harper’s Bazaar will host a lively panel talk on why women are spearheading the future of art and, in doing so, helping to power social progress. Speakers will include the multimedia artist Charlotte Colbert, the Heist Gallery founder Mashael Al Rushaid and the MTArt Agency founder Marine Tanguy, in a discussion moderated by Bazaar’s associate editor Frances Hedges.

‘Into the Night’: a curator’s tour at the Barbican

Be among the first to see the Barbican Art Gallery’s blockbuster autumn exhibition, ‘Into the Night: Cabarets & Clubs in Modern Art’, which takes visitors on an immersive journey through the electrifying history of cabarets, cafes and clubs around the world, and explores their vital role in artistic expression through the ages. After a welcome drink and light refreshments in the Garden Room, you’ll embark on a tour of the exhibition, led by the curator Florence Ostende, that highlights the female artists featured.
